Required:
Strong skills inside Photoshop creating website comps
Creating or editing WordPress themes to fit project comps/specs
Familiarity with current web standards
Familiarity with functions.php and WordPress hooks/filters
The desire to work with WordPress everyday
Ability to work in Seattle metro area at least a few days a week, and overall at least 40 hours a week (probably more)
Encouraged:
Desire to work in a startup like culture, a.k.a. hustle.
Strong grasp of PHP functions, scripting and other front end languages/libraries (javascript, jQuery, etc)
Experience building niche WordPress sites such as eCommerce, Membership, or Multi-site

Do you enjoy arguing whether or not the color of a button significantly affects conversions? Does F-shaped design mean something to you? We’re looking to add a UI designer to our team at FreshMuse who will play an integral role in refining our design process and creating beautiful designs for WordPress themes and plugins.
Required:
Experience as a UI/UX designer, interaction designer or similar role
Familiarty with the technical concepts needed for web design
Experience working collaboratively with people who aren’t as good at design than you, a.k.a. patience.

Still in school but looking to hustle and get a head start? We love working with college students who are looking to contribute and learn in a startup-like environment.
If you’re a designer you should have some samples of work, even if it’s just school projects or random doodles. If you’re a developer you should know WordPress to the extent where you know what a theme, function, hook and filter are. Beyond that… this is an experience where you can learn and contribute where you can.
